We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team at Morrison Healthcare, working immediately at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality medical nutrition therapy services, adhering to all guidelines and regulations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and patient rights are upheld.
  • Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as necessary.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to departmental meetings and facility-wide initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
  • Possess one year of hospital experience, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis programming.
