Hospice Nurse Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a skilled RN to join our growing hospice team in Lincoln, NE.
The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care services, utilizing their expertise in evaluations and admissions, routine care, symptom management, crisis intervention, and phone triaging.

A Day in the Life:
- Answer calls in a timely fashion with accurate triaging and professionalism
- Assess patient physical, functional, and nutritional status
- Make initial visits to explain hospice services, evaluate patient appropriateness, admit patient, and initiate initial plan of care
- Participate in service line meetings and team conferences
- Provide nursing services in accordance with the plan of care
- Maintain accurate on-call log for all calls placed into answering service
Requirements:
- Licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse
- Valid driver's license
- At least three years of experience as a nurse
- At least two years of experience in hospice or home care setting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
