We are seeking a skilled and ambitious electrical engineer to join our team at SMSI in Springfield, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced engineering principles to active projects and ensure timely completion within assigned scopes of work.

• Participate in regular department meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

• Develop proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying design codes and standards.

• Gain hands-on experience through job site visits and participate as part of a project team in both field and office environments.

• Build strong professional relationships and collaboration skills.

• Utilize industry-leading software to create engineering analyses and design drawings.

• Develop effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Acquire technical expertise through training and real-world experiences.

• Analyze data to inform decision-making and apply practical problem-solving skills.

• Learn and apply administrative engineering procedures and protocols.

• Prepare and submit formal reports and calculation documents.

• Work within established job processes and product quality frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheets, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for project sites and other locations.

Compensation: $65,000 per annum
