About the Role:

As a Claims Processor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the timely and accurate processing of healthcare claims. Your primary responsibility will be to verify patient eligibility for coverage and ensure that services or treatments received are covered under the patient's insurance plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient eligibility for coverage and services received
• Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance brokers, and policyholders to resolve discrepancies related to submitted claims
• Research claims appeals and grievances using support systems to determine outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of all claims processed, including denials, payments, and adjustments
• Determine payment or reimbursement amounts based on patient benefits, provider contracts, and fee schedules

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare claims denials and appeals process
• 2 years of claims experience
• Strong computer skills
