Job Title: GM Technician

At Gateway Chevrolet AZ, we're looking for skilled professionals to join our team as GM Technicians. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing and repairing their vehicles efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose complex vehicle malfunctions and perform necessary repairs within dealership and factory requirements.
  • Cater to the specific needs of each repair order and clearly document all work performed.
  • Effectively communicate with the service manager or advisor when adjustments and additional work are needed.
  • Road test vehicles when required.
  • Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a GM Technician.
  • Automotive dealership or similar environment experience.
  • GM certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or industry certification equivalent required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools.
  • Ability to bend, move, lift, and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
