Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Lecturer in Wildlife Conservation to join our Department of Environmental Conservation. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track appointment with a start date of January 26, 2025. The successful candidate will teach 19 course credits per year, including courses such as Introduction to Wildlife Conservation, Wildlife Sampling and Identification, and Vertebrate Field Ecology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in wildlife conservation and ecology
  • Develop and implement curriculum for courses in wildlife conservation and ecology
  • Contribute to departmental service and committee work
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years graduate education in wildlife or animal ecology and conservation
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to conservation of biological diversity
  • Strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and a desire to excel as a teacher and mentor
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD and teaching experience at the university level

Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
