About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Professor of Fashion to join our team at Istituto Marangoni Miami. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching specific courses in Fashion Business, Design, Styling, and Interior Design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to teaching in the relevant subject areas
  • Ensure student punctuality, attendance, and appropriate behavior in class/teaching rooms
  • Prepare detailed schemes of work (Syllabus) in advance for all short courses and assigned undergraduate courses
  • Deliver these schemes of work effectively, set homework, and mark and return these within agreed deadlines
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, homework marks, and test scores
  • Make every effort to secure the best performance from each student at their level both during their course and in final exams and assessments
  • Contribute to the Art & Design standards of the program in relation to the course materials and the teaching and learning experience
  • Assist in the preparation of assessment materials
  • Attend staff meetings, Assessment Boards, and training days as required
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in Academic teaching and skills, including the use of eLearning resources
  • Maintain an appropriate dress code and keep teaching room(s) organized
  • Work in a collegial fashion and foster productive relations with other members of staff
  • Be responsible for creating and updating teaching materials as directed by the Director of Education (DoE)
  • Inform DoE of resource requirements relating to the teaching short and UG courses
  • Carry out other duties as required by the School Director
  • Completion of required training for U.S. compliance
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact
  • Participate in all Student Activities and Open House

Requirements:

  • Education requirements must be met to teach in the Undergraduate (UG) or Master level programs
