Job Title: Emergency Room Technician

Join Kent Hospital's team as an Emergency Room Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our Emergency Services department.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Technician to assist with patient care, transportation, and administrative tasks. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the smooth operation of our Emergency Services department, providing a safe and supportive environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients between different hospital units, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Ensure that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature, or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed, under the supervision of licensed medical professionals.
  • Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Adjust crutches for patients as necessary, providing assistance with mobility and comfort.
  • Obtain food orders from the kitchen, ensuring patients receive timely and nutritious meals.
  • Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to their vehicles, providing a safe and comfortable transition.
  • Deliver specimens as needed, maintaining accurate and timely communication with medical staff.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our Emergency Services department.
Qualifications and Specifications:

Vocational/Technical Training, more than 6 months job-related experience, or equivalent is required. A Certified Nursing Assistant license is also required.
