Role Summary and ResponsibilitiesThis role oversees the operational aspects of Cardiovascular Programs, including CV Recovery, Cardiovascular Services, and the Electrophysiology Lab. The focus is on ensuring the seamless integration of services to support the healthcare system effectively.
- Manage cardiovascular operations to ensure efficient service delivery that meets the needs of both the healthcare system and medical professionals.
- Integrate various operations to provide a comprehensive continuum of care, addressing both clinical and geographical needs.
- Provide direct oversight as the Administrative Director for the cardiovascular product line.
- Implement quality initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and performance within the cardiovascular service line, adhering to established standards and databases.
- Engage in strategic planning and policy development for cardiac rehabilitation and related services.
- Foster physician relations to support the healthcare system and identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee marketing and product development initiatives for all cardiovascular programs.
- Supervise the annual review process, setting goals, and supporting staff in achieving their objectives.
- Ensure financial accountability and adherence to operational guidelines.
- Implement quality initiatives related to patient care and safety practices.
- Manage payroll, control overtime, and provide staffing reports.
- Maintain compliance with Radiation Safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques in all operations.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- Associate Degree from an accredited program; MSN or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience in cardiovascular services.
