Network Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer L3 to join our team at Ignatek LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

• Design and implement network architecture, including local and wide area networks, wireless networks, and IP telephone systems.
• Lead and manage a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Develop and implement network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems and services.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for future network upgrades and improvements.

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and management.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work occasional weekends, evenings, or split shifts.
