Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overnight Kitchen Cleaner to join our team at Ganir & Company. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchens, cafeteria, and other food service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers.
- Perform general sanitation duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen appliances.
- Enforce safety, health, and sanitation codes, and inspect and report any safety concerns.
- Assist with daily walk-throughs to ensure quality of work and maintain high cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
- Basic experience in kitchen, janitorial, and housekeeping cleaning services.
- Expert knowledge of operating cleaning equipment and proper use of solutions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to fully comprehend and communicate job requests.
Physical Demands: This role requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, and carrying, as well as the ability to work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
