About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at TravelNurseSource. As a critical care registered nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the care of critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- CVICU experience and skills
- Color vision
- Core Mandatory Part I, Part II, and Part III exams
- General ICU RN experience and skills
- Preventing Medication Errors RN certification
- RN Pharmacology knowledge
- State license
