Job Title: Electrical Journeyman

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team at Valente Electrical Contracting Corporation. As an Electrical Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including identifying and resolving issues with electrical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other electricians and tradespeople to complete projects and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed, including materials used and time spent on projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 1/2 years' experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
  • Knowledge of NYS codes and NEC codes.
  • Driver's License.
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Trade school certificate or apprenticeship.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
