Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $33-$38 per hour for our Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant position in Palm Desert, CA. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match, as well as parental perks and professional development opportunities.
Job Description
The successful candidate will assist our Physical Therapist in assessing patients' conditions and needs, implementing therapeutic exercises and interventions based on treatment plans, and monitoring and documenting patients' progress and response to treatments. They will also collaborate closely with the therapy team to ensure comprehensive care and educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and functional activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluation of client's daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
- Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
- Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, as well as unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice. We welcome both experienced and newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to apply.
