Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Conduct regular inventory of kitchen supplies and food items to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Stay up-to-date on individual procedures and protocols for our facility, including state-specific rules and regulations.
  • Set up and take down dining areas, assist with kitchen maintenance, and perform general cleaning tasks.
  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas and load/unload dishwashing machines.
  • Wash specific items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards and large pots, and store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment properly.
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock and notify supervisors when necessary.
  • Check dishwashing machines' operation and report any technical or performance issues promptly.
  • Remove garbage regularly and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
  • Perform daily log checks and clean and sanitize assigned units daily.
