Key Responsibilities
- Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the service order with precision and in alignment with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle components and systems.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Engage with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about necessary additional services.
- Provide accurate time estimates for any supplementary repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Technician.
- Certification from FCA/Stellantis is mandatory.
- A-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary vehicle technologies.
- Proactive and diligent team player.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer usage.
- Positive demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic tools.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
