Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Shenandoah, Texas.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to perform radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining radiation safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency in record-keeping.
  • Conduct quality assurance on radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Participate in initial and renewal applications for ACR accreditation.
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
