Position Overview

  • Assists in the preparation of meals and food items.
  • Prepares and serves meals to both students and staff members.
  • Conducts cleaning tasks, which include sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment and workspaces, as well as washing dishes and pots.
  • Prepares beverages, including brewing coffee, and maintains beverage stations, ensuring hot and cold food areas are set up properly.
  • Delivers food to staff, students, and catering events as required.
  • Prepares and serves food in accordance with established menus.
  • Receives and organizes incoming supplies, ensuring proper storage.
  • Collects and organizes trays for dishwashing.
  • Manages the storage of utensils, dishes, glasses, and cookware.
  • Processes sales transactions, manages the cash register, and completes production records.
  • Participates in all required training and in-service programs.
  • Upholds the goals, objectives, and mission statement of Whitsons Culinary Group.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Assists in various locations as necessary

Work Schedule:
Various shifts available, Monday through Friday only

Compensation:
$16.00/hour

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in speaking and reading English to effectively understand and execute job responsibilities.
  • Capable of meeting extensive physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures (both hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
  • Must consistently present a positive and professional demeanor.
