Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflows, logical processes, and system environments, ensuring integration with other systems and compliance with internal and external controls.
  • Develop system software code following industry best practices while adhering to organizational standards and policies.
  • Prepare, execute, and document comprehensive development tests and evaluations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) phases.

  • Revise and refine programs to address changes in functional requirements and configurations.
  • Work independently with minimal guidance from senior staff or management.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC, Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, and Security standards.
  • Collaborate with the Requirements Analysis team to develop the Software Requirements Document (SRD).
  • Apply functional knowledge to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Design, code, debug, and maintain complex computer programs.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tailor communication to suit the audience's experience and expectations, using relatable terms and examples.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive programming experience in distributed Java, J2EE technologies, and frameworks, including JavaScript and its frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Services, including WSDL, SOAP/XML, and RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization and development.
  • Proficiency in XML technologies such as XSD, XPath, and XSLT.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and organize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage conflicting requests and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, exercising initiative and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or formal training in software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial industry applications and systems.
  • Advanced understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in software development best practices aligned with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in systems and procedural analysis.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
