About the Role

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement speech and language therapy plans, providing one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
  • Provide high-quality therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Assist in assessing and evaluating students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student progress, providing regular updates to parents and caregivers.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding students' therapy and progress, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
  • SLPA Licensure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
