Computed Tomography Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team as a Lead. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the daily operations, workflow, and staffing requirements to achieve desired outcomes through the effective use of personnel, equipment, supplies, and effective workflow processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and assign Radiology patient transport to pick up and drop off patients from their locations in the Emergency department to ER X-ray and ER-CT and back to the Emergency department based on exam priorities.
- Ensure that imaging studies are prioritized according to when they were ordered, with stat procedures, stroke, and trauma studies taking priority.
- Develop, implement, and update protocols for imaging studies, ensuring compliance with staff and maintaining uniform standards and image quality.
- Manage the diagnostic x-ray and CT daily patient exams, prioritizing the needs of referring physicians and patients to accommodate stat procedures.
- Perform all documentation duties as required by the department, including properly labeling, archiving, and storing exams.
- Ensure the patients' comfort and dignity during procedures, using pillows, table pads, sheets, and blankets as needed.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, Radiologists, and other departments to ensure studies are performed in an efficient manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Registered Technologist (ARRT).
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist and IV certification.
- ARRT registry in CT.
