Job Summary

The Placement Specialist is a critical role within Professional Services Group, responsible for locating potential relative placements for children requiring out-of-home care. This position requires a high level of coordination and attention to detail to ensure timely and well-coordinated placements for children requiring higher levels of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough background searches on family members and non-relatives to identify potential placement options.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in relevant databases on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with Initial Assessment, Child Protective Services, and Placement Resources to ensure seamless placement processes.
  • Document case activities in accordance with agency and contractor policies and procedures.
  • Complete phone intakes and provide excellent customer service.
Work Environment

The Placement Specialist will work on-site in West Allis, WI, with the option to work remotely 50% of the time once fully trained. This position requires a flexible schedule, including rotating after-hours on-call coverage.
