Assembly Technician

Walterscheid Powertrain Group is seeking skilled Assemblers for 2nd shift positions. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality components are manufactured and meet specifications.

Responsibilities:

* Use assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and tools to assemble components
* Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
* Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
* Verify specifications by measuring completed components
* Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources

Physical Demands:

* Constant standing
* Lifting up to 50 lbs

Benefits:

* Eligible for a $2,000.00 sign on bonus
* Eligible for a wage increase 90 calendar days following hire date and every 180 calendar days after first 90 calendar days until employee reaches top of wage range (certain restrictions apply)
