Master Counselor

The Master Counselor is responsible for providing clinical services to patients in the Chemical Dependency Program. This includes conducting psychosocial evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, counseling, psychology)
- Experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient contact. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain confidentiality.
