Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team in Templeton, California. As a member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Vascular Sonographer will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiography, carotid doppler, and arterial and venous exams. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiography, carotid doppler, and arterial and venous exams
  • Maintain proficiency in ECGs, stress studies, and pharmacological studies
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS) certification
  • One year of recent acute experience preferred
  • Computer literacy with Excel and WordPerfect/Word

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position with a rotating shift schedule, including 12-hour shifts on Thursdays and Fridays, and every other weekend on call from 0600 Saturday to 0600 Monday.
