Overview:

ITC Defense Corp. is seeking an Intermediate Cybersecurity Analyst to assist in the Missile Defense Agency's Information Technology & Cybersecurity Management Program.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of working independently, and skilled in delivering status updates to the Leadership Team while preparing necessary documentation.

A solid grasp of the technologies associated with the assigned systems is essential.



Responsibilities:
1. Execute Cybersecurity Planning and Integration (CSP&I) and/or BMDS Cyber Network Defense (CND).

2. Formulate, implement, and uphold policies and procedures that align with applicable laws and regulations for the Network Environment (NE).

3. Prepare, disseminate, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures regarding the security of network system operations.

4. Develop NE security requirements tailored to IT acquisitions for inclusion in procurement documents.

5. Recommend resource allocations necessary for the secure operation and maintenance of the organization's Information Assurance (IA) requirements.

6. Participate in Information System risk assessments during the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.

7. Establish security requirements for hardware, software, and service acquisitions specific to NE IA security programs.


8. Ensure compliance of IA and IA-enabled software, hardware, and firmware with the relevant NE security configuration guidelines, policies, and procedures.

9. Assist in the collection and preservation of evidence for prosecuting computer crimes.

10. Monitor NE IS recovery processes to ensure that IA features and procedures are properly restored.

11. Review IA security plans for the NE.

12. Track and report all IAM review items.

13. Identify alternative functional IA security strategies to address organizational NE security concerns.

14. Coordinate IA inspections, tests, and reviews for the NE.

15. Evaluate the adequacy of security measures proposed in response to requirements in acquisition documents.

16. Monitor contract performance and periodically review deliverables for compliance with contract requirements related to NE IA, security, and privacy.


17. Provide leadership and guidance to NE personnel, ensuring that IA security awareness, fundamentals, literacy, and training are provided to operations personnel in line with their responsibilities.


18. Develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to NE and IA policies and procedures.

19. Advise the Designated Approving Authority (DAA) of any changes affecting the NE IA posture.

20. Conduct physical security assessments of the NE and rectify any identified weaknesses.

21. Assist in preparing IA certification and accreditation documentation.

22. Ensure compliance monitoring occurs and review results across the NE.

23. Maintain IA baseline certification appropriate to the position.

24. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years of dedicated IAM experience.

2. Secret clearance required.

3. Mastery of IAT Level I and IAT Level II CE and/or NE knowledge and skills with applicable certifications.

4. IAM II IA Baseline Certification.

Certifications:
1. CAP
2. CASP+ CE

Additional Certifications:
1. CISM
2. CISSP (or Associate)

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Prior experience with the Department of Defense (Agency or Military).

2. Bachelor's Degree or higher.
