Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optician to join our team at Pearle Vision. As an Optician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences, fostering patient retention, and promoting outstanding doctor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Foster a retail selling culture by practicing effective retail sales skills and utilizing sales techniques to drive profitable store sales.
  • Develop Professional Relationships: Develop and maintain professional business relationships with other associates and doctors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Optical Services: Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames, and provide expert recommendations to patients.
  • Quality Patient Experience: Ensure a quality patient experience by providing accurate pricing, POS entry, and realistic delivery time quotes.
  • Marketing and Merchandising: Assist with the timely execution of approved marketing programs and initiatives, and implement effective merchandising strategies to meet company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 1-2 years in a retail environment.
  • Licensure/Certification: State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianry association as an optician.
  • Skills: Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, experience and proven results with a retail or customer service establishment, and ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to opportunities to grow the business.
