Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and check engineering analyses and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Specify materials, equipment, and systems to meet project needs
  • Solve complex technical problems and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and review estimates, schedules, and progress reports to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Provide technical support for equipment and material procurement, construction administration, and subcontracting activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of practical related audio engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards
  • Ability to perform work in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal codes, statutes, and guidelines
  • Intermediate computer and software skills, including proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience with audio STI analysis using EASE software application
  • Professional Engineer license
  • NICET Level II (or higher) certification in an applicable subfield
  • Proficiency with development of control-level schedules and progress reports
  • Practical audio industrial design and field experience
  • CAD experience in 2D/3D MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit
Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Audio Engineering (or other qualifying engineering degrees) and minimum 10 years of practical related audio engineering experience
