We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the Lakes Regional MHMR Center. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with children aged 0-3 years, assessing their speech and language skills and developing plans to improve these skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who are developmentally delayed or medically fragile, and will possess knowledge of child development and developmental milestones. A valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record are also required, as the role involves extensive travel within the service areas using a personal vehicle or Center-owned vehicle.
Bachelor's level SLPA or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Speech Therapy and current Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant or Speech & Language Pathologist, plus one year of work experience, in a school or agency setting with children who are developmentally delayed, medically fragile, or who have specific developmental disabilities are requirements for this job.
Requirements- Bachelor's level SLPA or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Speech Therapy
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant or Speech & Language Pathologist
- One year of work experience in a school or agency setting with children who are developmentally delayed, medically fragile, or who have specific developmental disabilities
