Job Description

At Virginia Family Dentistry, we are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in the greater Richmond area. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Clinical Requirements for Dental Hygienist (RDH)

  • You will be responsible for cleaning teeth, examining oral health, applying sealants and fluorides, taking and developing x-rays, educating patients, and documenting care.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a high degree of skill with hand instrumentation and ultrasonic inserts, experience with digital radiographs and Dentrix Enterprise electronic patient records, and certification to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.

  • You will work closely with our dental team to provide high-quality patient care, educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Our hygienists are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and adhere to our Standard of Care.
