Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design experiments using Moldflow or Minitab software to optimize injection molding processes and develop new products.
- Manufacturing Engineering: Perform Design For Manufacturing, tooling, process, and validation engineering activities to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
- Process Improvement: Conduct design for manufacturing analysis, supplier management, and component qualification to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Prototyping and Testing: Prototype, feasibility test, and implement manufacturing work instructions to ensure smooth production and quality control.
- Validation and Launch: Create validation protocols and report documents to support the launch of new plastic components into manufacturing.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop improvements to existing products and injection molding processes to stay ahead of industry trends and customer demands.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Plastics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in plastics engineering, process development, and manufacturing.
- Competitive Salary: $90,000 to $160,000 per year.
