Position Summary:
As a Senior Platform Engineer at The Last Mile, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operational platforms that support our organization. This includes managing internal business systems and the underlying infrastructure that facilitates our program services. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and advancement of our technological systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address user-facing support escalations with a focus on timely resolution
  • Monitor platform infrastructure and proactively respond to alerts
  • Coordinate updates and deployments of platforms across the organization

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to tackle complex problems and empower others through technology
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as bash, Python, JavaScript, among others
  • Experience managing GCP projects and utilizing Terraform
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks Panorama and Ansible
  • Ability to support macOS and ChromeOS environments with an emphasis on security
  • Understanding of IP networking, computer hardware, and peripherals
  • Experience with OAuth, SAML authentication, and zero-trust security models
  • Expertise in building and maintaining integrated platforms using APIs
  • Knowledge of developing CI/CD pipelines and administering G Suite
  • Experience in supporting ticket-driven workflows
