We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Hotel Topeka at City Center. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all food is stored and handled in accordance with food safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
