Job Title: CDL Rear Load Driver

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Rear Load Driver to join our team. As a CDL Rear Load Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and hauling waste and recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by emptying trash and recycling containers into the truck and hauling them to the disposal site.
  • May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
  • Deliver trash and recycling containers as needed.
  • Replace trash and recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
  • Clean up waste spills and overflows.
  • Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body.
Requirements:
  • A valid Class B CDL.
  • A valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUIs or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to travel between offices, as required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the waste industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
