Position Overview

The Truck Driver plays a crucial role in the logistics and transportation sector, tasked with the safe delivery of both non-hazardous and potentially hazardous raw materials, equipment, and finished products across the United States.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM

Compensation

- $25 per hour with potential bonuses up to 15%

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of driving experience.
  • Valid federal Class A and E driver’s licenses, along with a state driver’s license.
  • Possession of a US driver’s license.
  • HAZMAT endorsement is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Compliance with SCT regulations and DOT standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Verify all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Adhere to safety protocols for the transportation of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Inspect trucks, bobtails, and trailers to ensure all mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Operate trucks with a capacity exceeding 3 tons, including bobtails and tractor-trailer combinations.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages promptly.
  • Document any cargo damages during loading, unloading, transport, or border crossings.
  • Ensure cleanliness inside and outside of the truck.
  • Maintain trailer integrity throughout the journey, adhering to C-TPAT standards.
  • Assist in scheduling trucks and trailers for maintenance as required by the organization.
