Responsibilities and Duties

As a caregiver with Right at Home North Shore-Chicago Metro, IL, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your duties may include:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Ambulation and Transfers: Safely move clients from one location to another
  • Eating and Nutrition: Prepare and assist with meals and snacks
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for our clients

In addition to personal care and housekeeping duties, you may also be responsible for:

  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed
  • Range of Motion Exercises: Help clients with exercises to maintain flexibility and mobility
  • Special Diets: Prepare and assist with special diets as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • English Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English as needed for the job
