Chess Wizards: Seeking Chess Tutors

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic chess tutors to join our after-school enrichment program. As a chess tutor with Chess Wizards, you will have the opportunity to cultivate children's love for the game, make chess fun, and strengthen their life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interactive, friendly, and fun classes with 10-15 kids
  • Teach chess strategies and techniques to students of various skill levels
  • Encourage connections between chess problem-solving and real-life problem-solving
  • Model good sportsmanship and promote a positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Some chess ability (Champion level not required)
  • USCF rating is a plus
  • Teaching/tutoring/camp counselor experience is a plus
  • Ability to drive between locations
  • Capability to fully utilize Chess Wizard's curriculum and class materials
