Job Summary

University Radiology is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Collections Specialist to join our East Brunswick, NJ Business Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various collection actions, including contacting patients and insurance companies, resolving claims, and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform collection actions, including contacting patients and insurance companies
  • Resolve claims and ensure accurate and timely payment processing
  • Monitor and analyze account receivable challenges and opportunities
  • Report payor issues and trends to the management team
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD9 and insurance contracts & reimbursement
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
