Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and managing inventory
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations


Requirements:


  • PTCB certification required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with counting, measuring, and weighing medications
