Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Concessions Barback to join our team at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. As a Concessions Barback, you will be responsible for receiving and replenishing liquor, beer, and wine in the bar area, as well as assisting with food and beverage preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items to the bar area
  • Set up and maintain the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
  • Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
  • Bus tables and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
