Shift
This position primarily operates during day shifts from Monday to Friday. However, as an exempt role, additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities, including potential on-call duties.
Job Summary
The Senior EHR Analyst will oversee the execution of the system development life cycle (SDLC) for an electronic health record system. Responsibilities encompass conducting the EHR system build, configuring the system, and supporting workflow design. This position will also involve developing and maintaining documentation in alignment with service management standards, policies, and procedures. The analyst will ensure that system design requirements and documentation are consistent with workflow modifications. Participation in all phases and activities related to their scope of work within the SDLC is expected. The analyst will implement a quality management plan tailored to their specific responsibilities.
This role will engage in operational and integrated workgroups to evaluate user feedback, gather configuration requirements, and review/audit system builds.
The analyst will hold regular meetings with team members and project leadership to discuss deliverable statuses, issues, change communications, and updates. Peer reviews of work products will be conducted, and troubleshooting will be performed to maintain a defect-free environment.
Collaboration with end-users, vendor representatives, project leadership, and other teams is essential to ensure successful design, build, and implementation that meets business needs.

Preferred Education/Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Administration, or Healthcare is preferred, along with at least 5 years of experience in healthcare, information technology, or a related field.
