Job Title: Pediatric School Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric School Nurse to join our team at Always Compassionate Home Care. As a Pediatric School Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to students in a 1:1 school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized nursing care to students with various medical needs
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care and communicate with healthcare professionals
  • Perform physical exams and health histories to inform care decisions
  • Administer medications and provide personalized interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support
  • Document nursing notes and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • NYS LPN License + Registration
  • BLS Card
  • 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand/work for extended periods
