Job Title: Clinical Medical Director

Valor Healthcare, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Director to lead our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Williston, ND.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Medical Director to oversee the clinical aspects of our CBOC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems, delivering preventive treatment of primary care needs, and managing day-to-day medical operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the diagnoses and treatment of our veterans, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day medical operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and achieving excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in managing the clinic's financial performance and ensure all colleagues provide excellent customer service.
  • Support patient enrollment and retention by providing guidance on scheduling, follow-up visits, or nurse visits.
  • Maintain staffing levels consistent with veteran enrollment, contract terms, and to maintain clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure all clinic metrics are at or above the VA threshold.
  • Emphasize recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining talent through excellent communication, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with our VA partners.
Requirements
  • 4+ years clinical medical practice with healthcare management experience preferred.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Degree.
  • Board certified in family practice or internal medicine.
  • Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
  • Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS.
  • Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to manage, both up and down.
  • Energetic and optimistic demeanor.
  • Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving all aspects of defined service standards.
