Field Technician Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Field Technicians for United Tech Services (UTS). As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspection, repair, and installation services on building material products used in residential and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience with doors and/or windows, including installation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication
  • Ability to problem solve with the goal of completing the task on the first trip
  • Daily access to the internet and the ability to take digital photos, required to interact with the UTS field service web application (Insight)
  • Late model vehicle that is reliable, exudes a professional appearance, and can transport full door units and window glass (or trailer)
  • Liability insurance with 1,000,000 minimum (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a local, state, and federal background check
