Transformative Accounting Services for Non-Profit Organizations

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, is a national leader in providing outsourced accounting services to non-profit organizations. We are seeking a dedicated and personable Controller to join our team and provide transformative accounting services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Transform non-profit client financial departments to meet their mission
  • Prepare financial reports for management and Board decision-making
  • Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures
  • Manage transactional activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting
  • Perform analysis and data visualization, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage grant allocations and funder reporting
  • Prepare for and manage annual audits
  • Provide client and staff training opportunities
Qualifications
  • Passionate about working in or supporting non-profit organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience
  • Experience working in a remote environment, preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, work independently, and be responsive on a timely basis
  • Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooks, and electronic bill pay systems
  • Non-profit accounting, public accounting experience, and/or consulting experience, a plus
  • CPA certification, a plus
  • Bilingual-English/Spanish, a plus

Starting hourly rate is $50 to $65 per hour for this non-exempt position. Total compensation may increase with overtime pay and eligibility for various bonuses.
