About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis at Boston Medical Center. As a member of our rehabilitation therapy team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of in and outpatients with physical and functional deficits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' condition, capabilities, and progress to develop individualized treatment programs">
  • Implement and progress patient treatment programs appropriately, terminating them as warranted by patient's progress and condition">
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination">
  • Stay current with advances in physical therapy treatments and techniques through ongoing education and training">
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to provide high-quality patient care and achieve shared goals">
  • Orient medical professional staff and students to physical therapy practices and supervise their learning experiences">
  • Follow established hospital infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution">
  • Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license as a Physical Therapist">
  • CPR certification">
  • APTA and MCAPTA membership preferred">
  • New graduates welcome; experienced therapists encouraged to apply">
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams">
  • Analytical abilities sufficient to evaluate patients' condition, capabilities, and progress to develop appropriate treatment programs">

Compensation:

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
