Marketplace Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Marketplace Cashier to join our team at Quality Food Centers Inc. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting in reaching sales and profit goals.

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to company standards and guidelines
• Assist in reaching sales and profit goals, monitoring quality assurance standards and making recommendations for improvement
• Embody the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others
• Perform essential job functions, including tendering customer transactions, promoting charitable promotions, and understanding company guidelines on scanning, produce recognition, and electronic fund transactions

• Ability to handle stressful situations and provide effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to perform calculations accurately
• Desired previous job experience in retail, with a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing) a plus
