Job Summary
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on well service sites. This includes adhering to company safety and operational protocols, performing routine maintenance on assigned service equipment, and driving equipment to and from locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Rig up and rig down equipment as directed by supervisory staff.
- Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all well service health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on all assigned service equipment.
- Drive equipment to and from locations as required.
- Submit timely daily driver log reports, equipment/truck reports, and Individual Vehicle Driver's Record (IVDRs).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Complete and abide by all Safety Training and other provided training.
- Appropriate communication skills for coordination of well service activities with crew members and supervisory staff.
- Travel to job location as required, including extensive out-of-town travel.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Mental and Physical Requirements
- Able to read, speak, and write English.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking, and seeing for long periods of time.
- Employee is required to accomplish hard physical labor in many different conditions, including lifting equipment.
- Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights.
- Exposure to all climate types, including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.
