Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at The Henry. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine to guests, ensuring that all drinks are made to perfection and presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and surrounding environment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on menu offerings and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating the point-of-sale system.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including basic cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
