Position Overview:
The Bilingual Youth Support Specialist is responsible for delivering direct care services, overseeing, and ensuring the well-being of adolescents in a residential setting. This role involves acting as an advocate, mentor, educator, and role model for the youth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the modification of attitudes and behaviors among program participants by enhancing their self-awareness, strengths, and challenges.
* Ensure the safety and supervision of youth during assigned shifts within the residential environment.
* Maintain the required staff-to-participant ratio during program activities and off-site appointments.
* Accurately document incidents, family communications, and other relevant interactions, submitting reports to the supervisor within established timelines.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in supervision meetings.
* Apply Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) de-escalation techniques as needed.
* Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during meal preparation and service.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with at-risk youth, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required, with Spanish preferred or proficiency in another language.
